Assessment
All three embedded images visually reviewed and preserved September 12. The 1847/1857 discrepancy and comment interpretation remain leads, not resolved chronology.
Material-image review completed September 12; the conflicting branding dates remain unresolved.
Embedded-image review — September 12, 2026
Three images reviewed: an earlier warehouse photograph with MGP entrance signage, the Ross & Squibb logo, and a later entrance photograph. The warehouse displays SEAGRAMS SINCE 1857 while Ross & Squibb branding displays SINCE 1847. This is direct evidence of conflicting branding dates, not evidence choosing the correct founding date or proving a universal legal-entity rename.
