Coverage
PDF1 abstract; PDF2 Grayson County context, 2015 Texoma Craft Beverage Alliance, teaching facility and program motivation; PDF3–5 format, advisory input, Bloom-based outcomes and eight course descriptions; PDF6–8 classification, funding, approval proposal and conclusion; PDF9 equipment photograph, contact-hour combinations and funding categories; PDF10 seven references. Eight-week operations/safety prerequisite precedes production courses. Credit and continuing-education mirror routes can converge if required work is completed. Industry advisory input was refined by college personnel over five weeks. Whiskey course emphasizes equipment, fermentation, distillation, maturation and sensory evaluation.
Figure and table checks
Figure1 is an equipment photograph, not a flow diagram or evidence of performance. Table1 highlights three-credit combinations: 3 lecture/0 lab/48 contact hours; 2 lecture/2 lab/64 contact hours; and allowable 3 lecture/1 lab/64 contact hours. Body p5 calls the last value credit hours, but table identifies CONTACT hours. Three credits do not mean 64 semester credits. Table2 shows agriculture code01/03 funding1, architecture/precision trades04/47.04/48 funding2, and biology/physical sciences26/40/41 funding3; historical excerpt, not current funding advice.
Interpretation and limits
Useful for modern whiskey professionalization, workforce education and adult-learning design: scaffold prerequisites, state observable outcomes, involve practitioners and allow flexible entry routes. No comparative assessment, graduate outcomes, employment effect, enrollment series or evidence that this design is universally superior. First-of-its-kind is the author's bounded claim, not independently established global priority. Regional historical vignettes and television opening are contextual, not primary whiskey chronology evidence. The appellation wording, course labels such as cider distillation and thujones production, and tequila/whiskey sugar-substrate shorthand must not be used as technical standards. Approval regulations, fees, funding and program availability are time-bound. No safe operating protocol is supplied.
