Written reading complete. Original HTML is preserved in the Wikipedia package linked from the Source record. Remote images, remaining primary corroboration and page-presentation checks remain open. This is not a fully processed source.

Source argument

The account links post-repeal expansion, bulk operations, fire recovery, acquisitions and products.

Evidence map

LINK-212, revision 1356584392: full numbered extraction lines 1–98 reviewed, including written reference entries and any tables. These locators identify the reviewed snapshot, not the underlying cited publications.

Founding 1935 is not repeal 1933. Current Bernheim-only and Beam-family-only assertions rely on old material. Line 21's 90,000 barrels does not equal 7.7 million gallons at 53 gallons per barrel: nominal 4.77 million before losses. Line 30's mash, char and cold-filtration specifications are dated, not universal. Ownership is not onsite production. Settlement and strike outcomes need primary/date-specific evidence.

No unverified direct quotations promoted. Detailed local critical checkpoint retained alongside the numbered reading file.

Researcher synthesis

Use the bulk futures/warehouse-tax discussion as a lead to Waymack 1995, not a current universal model. Preserve fire arithmetic discrepancy rather than silently selecting a figure.

Assessment

Tertiary discovery evidence only. Preserve contradictory and time-dependent claims as open checks, not resolved facts. Images, native preservation and presentation pending. Source-reading completeness does not prove factual accuracy; no History/profile/trial changes.

Primary-source follow-up — September 8, 2026

Heaven Hill's April 7, 2025 announcement reports the first barrel and production start at Heaven Hill Springs in Bardstown, alongside Bernheim in Louisville. Locator: opening paragraphs and paragraph beginning “The Heaven Hill Springs Distillery.” This resolves the snapshot's Bernheim-only claim as outdated; planned capacity is not measured output. The release also names Conor O'Driscoll as master distiller, so a present-tense Beam-family-only assertion is unsafe.

The company's November 4, 2016 fire-anniversary release dates the fire to November 7, 1996, describing seven warehouses, the distillery and more than 90,000 barrels lost. It does not establish 7.7 million gallons. Retain the gallon discrepancy as unresolved; nominal barrel-capacity arithmetic is not an observed loss measurement.

These are attributed company accounts, not independent validation of every historical claim. Both article texts were consulted; underlying assets and all linked material were not ingested.
