Evidence Summary
The producer label reads “A blend of straight rye whiskeys finished with toasted apple wood staves,” at 93 proof. The producer identifies the starting whiskey as Paradigm, whose components come from New York, Kentucky and Indiana. This is the newer 93-proof expression, separate from the historical 91-proof whiskey distilled from rye mash. Specialty-category mapping is based on the finished label designation; an individual COLA/formula was not inspected. The independent sensory comparison is BTI’s July 2025 Batch 62 sample; batches can differ. Calvados in that review is a flavor comparison, not a documented finishing cask.
