Legacy Resource Category
Global independent review archive; catalogue portal, not a citable review.
Purpose and boundary
Use WhiskyNotes selectively for sensory comparisons, international context, and reviews of American whiskey releases.
Evidence rule
Create a Source for the exact review before use. Present scores and tasting notes as Ruben Luyten’s opinion, and verify factual product specifications independently when they matter to a claim.
Review
- The site describes itself as a personal, selective collection of impressions active since 2008.
- The author openly states stylistic preferences, so the archive is not a neutral sample of the market.
- American whiskey is a secondary part of a global whisky collection.
