Whiskey Profiles Database (USWA)

USWA Blending Profile Standard v1. American whiskey reference catalog with separately identified supporting components. Retain producer/owner, linked brand, legal category, age statement, proof, mashbill, production features, finishing components, flavor components, dated bottle-size-specific price, official URL and purchase URL. Use the default New Whiskey Profile template. Public presentation: Provenance; Production; Blending Characteristics; Potential Blending Role (hypothesis); Tested Blending Results; Purchase Information. No public star scores or conventional nose/palate/finish reviews. Retain legacy sensory fields as research material. Flavor families derive from recorded descriptors, never from mashbill/cask/proof alone. Blank means unknown, not absent; N/A only when truly inapplicable. Keep source basis, batch applicability and conflicts explicit; original paraphrase only. Separate perceived sweetness from measured sugar, flavor persistence from cask finishing. No intensity scores without a defined tasting method. Controlled-result status requires a linked dated report with exact bottles/batches, proportions, proof, preparation/rest, evaluation method, repetitions and limitations. Preserve existing research status and private source-file boundaries. Refresh body and Blending Summary presentation when facts change; verify saved and public results.
