Understanding Blended Whiskey
At least 20% straight whiskey on a proof-gallon basis, with the rest whiskey, neutral spirits, or both. Neutral spirits may account for up to 80%. This specific legal type is not interchangeable with every whiskey that happens to combine barrels.
